Become a Docent

Would you like to become a volunteer docent and lead school tours? Docents must be available at least one day a week, Tuesday - Friday, for two hours between 10am - 2pm. Docents must also pass a background check.

We offer docents ample time to shadow other docents while they train you on topics like robotics, engineering, and Downey’s aerospace history. Docents will also have many opportunities to tour with experienced docents until they feel confident and knowledgeable enough to lead students on their own.
