Girls in STEM Club
The Columbia Memorial Space Center’s science club for girls is an out-of-school experience that aims to support a community of critical and creative thinkers.
Through hands-on activities, projects, and challenges centered on STEM, girls are encouraged to create, explore, test, and share new ideas. Through mentor relationships and exposure to a wide range of professional fields, the club encourages girls to become life-long learners and advocates for more diversity in STEM careers.
The Girls in STEM Club was formed in 2015 and has grown to include over 50 active members.
The club is open to girls ages 8 - 18!
