ENGINEERING A ROVER (ROVING ON MARS)
Target audience: 4th - 12th grade educators
Participants will explore force and motion in the design of small, rubber-band-powered rovers that engage students in the engineering design process. Students design and build a rover out of cardboard, determine how to use rubber bands to spin the rover's wheels and improve their design based on testing results.
