Columbia Memorial Space Center to Houston, we have a lift-off for our Astronaut Training Camp! Enroll to train like an astronaut, including examining film and photos taken from space and playing an active role in space missions! We’ll end our week blasting off rockets into space!

Friday Night Flights
A three-part summer series for adults, blending lively trivia with fascinating science talks from professionals in astronomy and aerospace. Each evening offers hands-on activities, refreshing drinks, and plenty of chances to connect, compete, and discover something new!

Sci-Fi Engineering
We received a strange transmission from outer space! It contains the science behind some of our favorite Sci-Fi movies and shows! Beam down to an exoplanet of your creation, turn liquid into a wearable solid, and explore the role of an astrobiologist!

Family Nite
Join us each month for our FREE Family Nite, where imagination soars and curiosity sparks! This recurring evening event features fascinating talks on space related topics with expert speakers stationed in different rooms throughout the museum. Plus, enjoy full access to the museum’s exhibits, open to everyone for this evening. Bring the whole family for a monthly dose of fun!

Making Waves
BSCS Science Learning will join the National Science Foundation’s 75th Anniversary “NSF STEM Day” on May 10, 2025, at the Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey, CA. Led by Dr. Sherry Hsi, the team will showcase their Making Waves with Radio project, which explores the science of radio signals and their role in modern communication. Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on activities, games, and demonstrations highlighting radio-enabled technologies like drones and Wi-Fi.
