EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

In partnership with Caltech's Children's Center in Pasadena, the Columbia Memorial Space Center has renovated its early childhood development program and indoor space!

This pilot program is geared towards young children ages 6 months to 4 years old. New STEM curriculum will encourage children to work on fine motor skills, language development, and listening skills, and will expose them to art sensory exploration and pre-writing activities.

The goal of the program is to introduce children to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at an early age. Throughout the 4 week program, children will be exposed to various topics including light, motion, air, shadow, water and robotics.

Parent participation is required (1:1 ratio only)

Our pilot session for this program currently runs from February 19 - March 14 and meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 - 9:30am at the Columbia Memorial Space Center.
