LOOKING FOR LIFE

Target audience: 4th - 12th grade educators

Explore the growing field of astrobiology with these NASA/JPL lessons all about the science of searching for life beyond Earth! Participants will learn to get students using research to develop an operational definition of life. Then, we'll use the fundamental criteria for life to examine simulated extraterrestrial soil samples for signs of life. We'll also build small devices to bring our samples "back to Earth."
